Boarding consents

These points are here to make sure every cat is cared for safely and consistently during their stay. Most are common sense, but we’ve set them out clearly so you know exactly how we work.

By booking with The Garden Mews Luxury Country Hotel for Cats, you agree to the following:

If your cat is ill or injured

Before any action is taken, on discovery of illness, injury or parasites, every effort will be made to contact me, or my emergency contact, and The Garden Mews will keep us updated where possible.

My cat will be treated by their usual vet, where possible, or one nominated by The Garden Mews, without delay if my cat shows signs of injury, illness, or parasites (such as fleas or worms).

Any necessary examinations (including blood tests, X-rays, or similar) will be undertaken following the vet’s professional advice.

The Garden Mews may administer any treatment prescribed.

In the unlikely event that euthanasia is recommended on humane grounds by the attending vet, I give my consent.

I understand that all veterinary consultations, tests, and treatments will be at my expense..

Cats sharing units

If there is concern about my cats' well-being and safety, or if they start fighting whilst in a shared family unit, my cats may be split into separate units.  I agree to cover any additional costs as a result.

Bringing favourite items from home

Any items I bring from home that are to be placed in the unit with my cat(s) will be noted on arrival, but left at my own risk.

Garden Mews equipment

I agree that The Garden Mews may place equipment (scratching posts etc) in the cat unit with my cat.

How staff interact with your cat

Staff at The Garden Mews may interact with my cat appropriately.

If you have any questions about these points, please get in touch — we’re always happy to help.
