Parking for Visits, Drop off and Collection
Large Parking Area
We have a large parking area for visitors and drop-off/collection, which is equipped with CCTV. Please always pull off the road into our driveway, as large farm vehicles also use the road and need to pass.
All visitors
We will usually be aware of your arrival and come to greet you, but in the meantime, please make your way to the cattery reception.

We offer 3 different unit sizes for you to choose from.

Early or Late Collection
We do not give refunds for early collection and do charge for extra unplanned days in our care, so please ensure your booked dates cover the duration of your holiday, bearing in mind our mornings-only opening hours.
Communication is key; if your plans change and you cannot collect when expected, please let us know so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Food & Feeding your cat
We include a wide selection of high-quality wet & dry cat foods, but we are unable to offer specific brands or specialist diets. Please check with us before booking if you have any concerns. Make an enquiry →
We are always happy for customers to supply their cat's own food, but we do not offer discounts for customer-supplied food. Fresh food — like Katkin & Scrumbles— is stored in our refrigeration facilities.
Health Policies
General
Please note that we do not accept unneutered cats over 8 months old.
We accept cats on the understanding that they are in good health. All pre-existing medical conditions must be notified to us prior to your arrival so we can adequately care for your pet.
You will be asked to complete our check-in form before boarding, unless you have already done so.
On arrival
Please ensure your cat is transported in a secure carrier – we take no responsibility until your cat is safely inside our secure premises.
Any medication you bring for your cat must be clearly labelled by a vet and include full instructions.
Vaccinations
All cats must be fully vaccinated against cat flu (feline herpesvirus and calicivirus) and feline panleukopenia (enteritis). Proof of vaccination may be presented at check-in or sent in advance by email so we can print a copy before your arrival. Failure to provide up-to-date vaccination proof will prevent us from accepting your cat.
Flea & Worm Treatments
All cats must be up to date with vet-prescribed flea and worm treatments prior to boarding.
If cats show signs of infestation during their stay with us, they will be taken to a vet for treatment. All related costs will be payable and added to your final invoice.
During your cat's stay
In the event of any concerns with your cat, we will, in the first instance, try to contact you or your emergency contact before consulting a vet. Where possible, we use your own vet; if not, we use The Glaven in Holt, our nominated local vet.
Pet Insurance
We encourage you to obtain your own pet insurance, as by using our services, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for all additional costs related to your cat's health.
Vaccination & Health Certificates
To help us prepare for your cat’s stay, we ask that vaccination records and any relevant health information be sent to us, where possible, ahead of check-in.
Please send them by email to gmcattery@gmail.com
We know that some treatments or boosters may take place shortly before your booking. If you can't send them in advance, you must bring them with you on check-in day, or we will be unable to accept your cat.
Sending them in advance allows us to check everything in good time and helps ensure a smooth, relaxed check-in for both you and your cat.
